Diagnosis
Archiving objects may contain archiving classes. To ensure that archiving sessions containing archiving classes will be converted consistently, it is necessary to implement a specific SAP Note for every relevant archiving class.
System Response
It was found that the relevant Note for archiving class was not implemented completely. The indicator for this is that function module does exists, but is not active.
Procedure
Check in Note 669403 what corrections must be made for archiving class and the relevant Release, and implement the relevant Note completely. If necessary, contact SAP.
Further notes
Note 668491 also contains information on how to check whether the relevant archiving session actually contains data from archiving class and whether consequently the Note needs to be implemented or not.
