Diagnosis
The system could not start a job - either because no additional batch job is available or because the maximum number of batch processes () that has been preset for the package is already running.
Procedure
If you still want to start more jobs and you have free batch jobs available, increase the maximum number of batch processes accordingly.
Notes
- The number of batch processes is determined at cross-server level.
Using the parameter JOB_START_MODE_FILL_LOR (transaction CNV_10020_PARAM), you can set the number of batch processes for CNV jobs, fill jobs or total number of jobs. (The term 'fill jobs' refers to all jobs that access object tables, such as jobs for creating intervals or jobs for deleting the object tables.) - If the org. package runs without the interface package, you can control the maximum number of batch processes using the parameter MAXIMUM_NUMBER_OF_BATCH_PROCESSES (transaction CNV_10020_PARAM).
- CWB context: You can define the maximum number of batch processes by setting "Number of work processes running in parallel" in the conversion runtime parameters accordingly.
