Serious syntax error in enh. object &3 of enh. spot &1 (version &2)

Diagnosis

Serious syntax error (for example, string literal not closed, statement not closed with a period) in enhanced object of enhancement spot (Version ). The syntax error can either be directly in the enhanced object, or in a contained include or a contained enhancement implementation.
Due to the syntax error, it is not possible to determine the enhancement options contained in the enhanced object (class, program, ...).

Check the enhanced object in the ABAP editor and remove the syntax error.

Afterwards, perform the required action once again.
