Effectivity data not copied from source

Diagnosis
You want to create a change master record that has a new effectivity type (for example, serial number) by copying an existing change master record. The existing change master record has a different effectivity type (for example, time period).
System Response
The system checks whether the effectivity types are the same.
Procedure
The effectivity types are not the same, so the system does not copy the effectivity data. You must enter effectivity data in the new change master record yourself.
