Diagnosis

The character standard is specified in the import file. This character standard could not be set.

System Response

Transfer is canceled.

Procedure

Check whether this is a correct character standard. If necessary, correct the details entered in the transfer file.

If the value <unknown> is given in the import file, the character standard could not be determined during export. Enquire from the manufacturer of the file which character standard was used. This is normally ISO-R/3.

The character standard that is to be written during export is set in the environment parameter EXPORT_CHARACTER_NORM.
