Unable to find referencing specifications that meet the search criteria

Diagnosis
You activated the input help for a reference field. The system is unable to find a specification that meets the search criteria and can be referenced. The system only filters out for selection from the set of hits those specifications that can be referenced.
A specification cannot be referenced in the following two cases:
- If it is of a specification type that cannot be referenced (->Customizing)
- If it has references itself. The system does not permit dual-level referencing.
