Diagnosis

You have entered a search pattern that contains quotation marks and is therefore too long for the search.

The quotation marks are doubled for technical reasons before being transferred to the database selection.

Example:

The search pattern Patt'ern is converted internally to the string Patt''ern before it is transferred to the database selection.

Doubling the quotation marks makes the search pattern longer. This may mean that the search pattern is too long for the data field in which it is entered. Doubling the quotation marks and transfer to the database selection is therefore not possible.
