Do not assign a material staging area to a door

Diagnosis

The Multi-Level Goods Receipt function assumes that the door (unloading zone)

  1. is hierarchically superior to the staging area (unloading point)
  2. groups several staging areas

You infringe this relationship when you assign only one staging area to a door.

  1. Create the entry.
  2. Assign more than one staging area to the door (in the Customizing activity Define material staging areas).
