Diagnosis

You entered an object type , however is not a valid name for an object type.

Procedure

Enter a name for the object type that fulfills the following requirements:

  • Exactly two characters without a SPACE
  • The first character must be one of the 26 letters of the alphabet, that is ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ.
  • The second character must be either one of the 26 letters of the alphabet or a number, that is ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ1234567890.

Any other possible combinations are reserved for future enhancements and may not be used.

If the first character is Y or Z, the object type belongs to the customer name range, otherwise it belongs to the SAP name range.
