Exit cannot be called up when changing activation status of &1

Diagnosis
The activation status of application has been changed by importing a transport request (current activation status = ''). For technical reasons, the exit intended for this (BAdI EXTENSION_SWITCH) could not be called up.
As a result, application or the corresponding R/3 Extension were not able to react to the activation status change.
System Response
Application now has an undefined status. This situation must be rectified.
Procedure
Contact SAP Support, as the error that is preventing you from calling up the exit must be rectified.
Afterwards, it will be necessary to import the affected transport request again. If you do not do this, correct functioning of the affected R/3 extension cannot be guaranteed.
