Diagnosis

The table to be logged is larger than the log table.

System Response

Logging is not possible.

Procedure

Increase the size of field LOGDATA in log table DBTABLOG to at least bytes. To do this, you have to increase the size of the LOGDATA domain to at least bytes. Activate the settings and restart the system. You can then set up the log for table .

Adhere to this sequence when you are transporting the changes to other systems. First transport the changed domain and then restart the destination system. Then transport the log settings for table .

Check whether logging is relevant for these tables. Note that logging a large table can lead to large data volumes.
