Sub-totals are only allowed for sorted columns

Diagnosis
You want to compute subtotals for the numeric values of your table and selected columns for which the subtotals should be computed. These columns must first be sorted.
System Response
Procedure
If you want to compute subtotals for a certain field, you must first sort the table by this field. After sorting, select the field or column again. You can then compute the sums.
