Diagnosis
In a PM/CS order, you use external operations with the Subcontracting indicator. For one or more components, you have set the material provision indicator (MPI) to Rework Material to Subcontrator or Rework Material from Subcontractor. During maintenance of the PM/CS order, if you clear the Subcontracting indicator, you cannot use the MPI. The MPI must be blank.
System Response
You cannot save the PM/CS order.
Procedure
- Use the Subcontracting indicator to mark the external operation of the PM/CS order as a subcontracting operation.
- For all components in the order, ensure that the MPI is not set.
- Remove the Subcontracting indicator.
