Diagnosis

In the master record of the G/L account the line item display was not activated. A single item adjustment is only possible if the line item display is active.

System Response

The system cannot adjust the account with the single item method if the master record settings are not changed.

Procedure

Either change the adjustment method to 'balance method' or change the settings in the company code depending master record of the account so that the line display is active.
