Diagnosis

A task should be performed in an external system.

The task does not match the selected target system.

Possible causes may be.

  • It is a database-dependent task. The database of the target system does not match the database that is assigned to the task.
  • It is a operating system-dependent task. The operating system of the target system does not match the operating system that is assigned to the task.
  • The task is assigned to a task area that is not active in the target system.
  • The task is client-dependent. The client that is defined for the task differs from the logon client used by the RFC connection.
  • There is no information about the system environment of the target system because
    • the system is currently not available or
    • a remote access is not allowed.
