Diagnosis
You want to copy or move tasks, or modify a parent node. The system has detected conflicts between the attributes of the parent node and its subnodes.
System Response
The attributes of the parent node are usually passed on to the subnode.
This is rejected in the following cases:
- The parent node has a database system dependency; the subnodes also have this dependency, but with a different database system.
- The parent node has an operating system dependency; the subnodes also have this dependency, but with a different operating system.
- The subnodes have less authorization than the parent node. Authorizations have the hierarchy Administrator - Project team leader - Project team member.
The attributes are not passed on in these cases because the conflicts cannot be resolved. For example, it makes no sense to position an Informix-dependent node as a subnode under an Oracle-dependent parent node.
Procedure
Change the relevant attributes of the parent node. Change the attributes that cause the conflict to SPACE.
Alternatively, only copy those tasks that do not cause conflicts.
You can display the database and operating system dependency attributes as a View in the list.
