Diagnosis
Function module has encountered an exceptional situation and reported this to the calling program .
Procedure
Use the menu path Tools --> ABAP Workbench --> Function Builder, to display the function module. Under the heading 'Documentation', there is the 'Exceptions' table. The parameter Sy-Subrc corresponds with the line number of the relevant exception.
