Windowing system &1 not supported in graphical layout editor

Diagnosis
The graphical layout editor is available for the following systems:
- Windows 95/98
- Windows NT
- Motif (UNIX)
You tried to run the graphcal layout editor under a different windowing system.
System Response
The system switched automatically into the alphanumeric layout editor. This works on any platform and windowing system.
Procedure
Check whether your user-specific setting for the layout editor is correct, and change it if necessary.
To reach the settings menu from the Repository Browser, choose "Settings->Tools..., Workbench->Screen Painter".
