Diagnosis
In Release 2.1, the standard dimensions of a window (and hence of a screen) were extended from 20 lines by 80 columns to 21 lines by 84 columns. Older screens are converted automatically by the Screen Painter when it recognizes that the screen has not yet been saved under the new dimensions. The conversion shifts all existing screen elements one column to the right. This means that there is at least one free column on the left. This can be used, for example, to convert a group header into a group box. The free column on the left is then occupied by the left-hand edge of the box, and you do not have to adjust the position of the header. When you next save the screen, the converted form is written to the database and the screen is flagged as converted.
