Diagnosis
You want to process a file under path . The system determines an access path for the specific combination of your frontend computer <-> data carrier for original application data you are using.
Note:
You do not need an access path if the original application files are stored on your local computer.
System Response
The system cannot access the file. Perhaps the path or the file does not exist.
Procedure
On the tab page Originals certify the entries for the storage location as follows:
- Place your cursor in the line with the original application file that you want to verify
- Select the function Detail. A dialog box appears with the following:
When the file is stored on another computer verify whether in Customizing for Document Management an access path is defined to this computer (Activity Define data carrier, Navigation step Mount points/Set up logical drives).
