Access to content repository &1 via application server

Diagnosis
An attempt was made to access the content repository directly from the user's frontend, but the corresponding server (for example, FTP server or HTTP server) could not be accessed. This may be due to a "firewall" intended to protect the server from unauthorized access.
System Response
The system tries to avoid the access problem by directing future attempts to access this repository via the R/3 System application server.
Procedure
No further action necessary.
Procedure for System Administration
Check whether the failure to establish a direct connection to the server was really caused by a security measure or whether a technical problem is to blame.
