DB collector status is inconsistent (&1, &2)

Diagnosis
The actual status of the DB collector job in the Microsoft SQL Agent is different from the current setting in the control table sap_perfhist. A possible cause of this error is that the job was ended, bypassing the collector interface.

Procedure
Stop the DB collector. This means that the status is consistent. If desired, you can then sstart the collector again.
