Diagnosis

The component with specification ID in the product structure contains multiple active compositions for the same variant. This means the compositions have the same usage information.

The system supports multiple compositions only if they constitute different product variants. In that case, the usage information must be different.

The log should contain additional messages following this one that list the usages of the affected composition.

System Response

The product structure shows just the first active composition of the specification.

Procedure

Check the compositions of the affected specfications. Reduce the number of active compositions with one or more of the following actions:

• Deactivate compositions by deselecting the active checkbox in the usage information of the composition.
• Delete compositions.
• Correct the usage information of the affected compositions to ensure that they constitute different product variants.
