This entry is not mandatory for standard products that are defined in public norms (for example, most metallic materials). If, however, the trade name is pre-defined in drawings, this entry is mandatory.

This entry is not mandatory for materials that are not defined in public norms (for example, plastic materials, oils, fats, flake layers, glue) but it can be used to uniquely identify the product.

The mandatory disclosure of materials and contained substances is not affected by reporting a trade name.
