Diagnosis
The system could not determine a specific item category for creating the direct outbound delivery item.
System Response
The system checks whether it can determine an item category which is specific for the direct outbound delivery process. If no suitable item category can be found in the corresponding customizing settings, the system uses the standard item category determination.
Procedure
Check whether the delivery is created with a suitable item category. Contact your system administrator in case of errors.
Procedure for System Administration
The system uses the following parameters to determine an item category from the item category determination for direct outbound deliveries.
- EWM delivery type
- EWM item type
- Initiator process
- Warehouse number
Check the entries in this IMG activity if the delivery does not contain the correct item category.
Note that you can use an asterisk (*) to define entries that are valid for all possible values of the corresponding field.
