Diagnosis
You are attempting to create an additional costs category for a credit-side down payment chain that is to be posted with an output tax code, or for a debit-side down payment chain that is to be posted with an input tax code. In such cases, the tax code of the additional costs category is always different from the down payment chain contract.

Either specify in Customizing that the tax code of the additional costs category has to be entered when you create a chain contract or change your other entries accordingly.
