Enter the Consumption sequence of lots for End Customer Returns.

Diagnosis

When Special Buy and Stock Returns are indistinguishable, the DRM system creates a new lot to hold the quantity returned. In order to create a new lot, the system requires a reference lot. For this, the DRM profile must have the Sort Order for lots to determine how the system will zero in on the lot(s) to be consumed.

Procedure

Enter the Sort Order of lots, such as N, B, BB, which indicates that the system should first look for a Normal lot with matching tracking partner and manufacturer book part number to use as the Reference Lot. If a suitable Normal lot with matching key is not found, the system should look for a Special Buy lot for reported end customer, followed by blanket Special Buy lot to use as Reference Lot.
