Diagnosis
The demand follows assignment function is active. However, the backward integration of demand dates is currently not active.
System Response
The system cannot create an assignment because the demand dates cannot be changed.
Procedure
You can either allow the demand dates to be back integrated or deactivate the demand follows assignment function. You can find both settings in Customizing for SAP Multiresource Scheduling under Sources of Demand --> PM/CS Orders --> Control Integration Between MRS and PM/CS (ERP).
