Procedure for System Administration
Check whether operation is supposed to be marked as relevant for resource planning. If the operation is not supposed to be relevant for resource planning, you can make the appropriate setting using the operation category, which is determined during operation category determination from the item category group and other data.
If the operation is supposed to be relevant for resource planning, check in the master data for the individual object whether an appropriate tool resource exists. Check that this tool resource has tool as the reference product and that it is assigned to the resource planning node in question for the relevant period. Assignments to resource planning nodes are passed down to lower-level resource planning nodes. That is, in the resource planning structure, the tool resource need only be assigned to a resource planning node above one of the resource planning nodes for which the planning board was set up.
