Diagnosis

When adding an entry, you entered a key that has already been assigned and is currently flagged for deletion.

The key " " of the new data record is the same as the already assigned key " ".

System Response

The new entry cannot be added.

Procedure

You have three options. You can

  • Enter a different key.
  • Save the deletion before entering the new entry.
    N.B. Afterwards, none of the entries flagged for deletion can be reactivated.
    To do this, first close the error screen using the Cancel function. Use the Save function to save the deletion and then enter your new entry again.
  • Reactivate and then change the entry flagged for deletion:
    1. To do this, first close the error screen using the Cancel function, and if necessary return to the overview screen by using the Back function.
    2. Then use the Display Deleted Entries function in the Select menu to select all the deleted entries.
    3. Select the entries that are to be reactivated.
    4. Then execute the Retrieve function.
