Diagnosis
No contingents were found that exist in the lifetimes of the two objects to be linked.
System Response
To be able to assign the object to a contingent, the contingent period must be within the objects validity period. This was not the case for any of the contingents, and the object therefore could not be assigned to a contingent.
Procedure
When you create objects for an operation/exercise, select the validity period of the object so that the contingent to be assigned is within this period, or select a relationship target that has contingent assignments within the required object validity period.
When assigning existing objects, select a relationship target with contingent assignments that are within the validity periods of these objects.
