Diagnosis
A controlling area has not been defined in the current organizational structure.
Usually, the controlling area is maintained in the root node in the organizational structure.
All organizational objects (force elements) inherit the controlling area from the root node. Technically, a controlling area can be assigned to one organizational object only.
System Response
Procedure
Maintain the controlling area on the 'Account Assignment' tab page for the root node in the organizational structure.
The system also outputs this error if the assignment period between the force element and controlling area (usually of the root node) is shorter than the validity of the current object.
In this case, correct the inconsistent data.

You can also define your preferred controlling area in your user parameters:
CAC = Your controlling area
