System Response
The system was not configured for carrying out full-text searches.
Procedure
The system only searched the database. The search results may be incomplete.
Procedure for System Administration
To allow for a full-text search function, carry out the following steps:
1. Install a search engine
2. Connect the search engine to the system via Remote Function Call (RFC).
You can set up this connection in Customizing for SAP NetWeaver by choosing Basic Services --> Knowledge Provider --> Text Retrieval and Information Extraction --> Create RFC Destinations
3. Define a Search Server Relation
You can define the relation in Customizing for SAP NetWeaver by choosing Basic Services --> Knowledge Provider --> Text Retrieval and Information Extraction --> Define Search Server Relation
4. Define the Indexing Rediness for the document area ATF
You can define the Indexing Rediness for this documentation area in Customizing for SAP NetWeaver by choosing Basic Services --> Knowledge Provider --> Document Management Services --> Define Indexing Rediness
