Overlap in validity period (corresponding key not yet stored?)

Diagnosis
A record with identical key values (Plant/Storage location/Excise duty function) and different validity area is available, time overlaps were found (for example due to a blank field in date to = unlimited validity).
Procedure
The table entry with identical key values has to be adjusted regarding the validity area AND saved, as the system recognizes the change only after this procedure.
