Diagnosis
You have set structure category S (Structured Empties) for the chosen material. In the material master, this material has a (cross-plant) material status that allows it to be processed in Inventory Management.
Processsing in Inventory Management is not permitted for structured empties (value S in the Structure Category field).
System Response
The system asks you to change the material status so that the material will not be taken into consideration in Inventory Management.
Procedure
The cross-plant material status restricts how the material can be used for all plants, that is, it determines whether a warning or an error message is issued when the material is used in certain functions.
Change the status in the Cross-Plant Material Status field in the material master so that the material will not be taken into consideration in the stock (and therefore also not in the goods movement).
