Note:
If you deactivate Empties Management in the component MM, it can cause inconsistencies in the dataset in the Purchase Order and Logistics Invoice Verification.
Background:
The Structure Category for Material Relationships field is used to differentiate between full products and structured empties and the normal material. Together with the function of the bill of material (use 5), the structure category causes the system to show tied empties as dependent items in the purchase order. The Structure Category for Material Relationship is also used in the Invoice Verification area.
