Diagnosis
If you activate Empties Management in the component MM, you can work with an extended dataset.
Note:
If you later deactivate Empties Management in the component MM, it could cause inconsistencies in the dataset for the Purchase Order and Logistics Invoice Verification.
Background:
The Structure Category for Material Relationship field is used to differentiate between full products and structured empties and normal materials. The structure category together with the function of the bill of material (use 5) causes the system to show tied empties as dependent items in the purchase order. The Structure Category for Material Relationship is also used in the Invoice Verification area.
