Notification is required to carry out a debit memo

Diagnosis
To carry out a debit memo it is necessary to create a debit memo notification in addition to setting a payment method. Such notifications are created using transaction FPDDAX.

Procedure
Since setting the payment method alone is not sufficient, it is better not to set any payment methods using manual document changes, but instead to make these with transaction FPDDAX as this also generates the notification so that the item can also be collected.
