Diagnosis
As a result of historical postings, it is necessary to reschedule the transfer postings that were executed. Historical postings are always necessary if a receivable has already been entered as a doubtful entry or the value was adjusted in the general ledger via a transfer posting run on a specific date, and then the receivable was cleared on a posting date that is before the posting date of the transfer posting run that has already been executed.
Example
- Receivable posting, posting date 1.4.
- Receivable entered as doubtful, posting date 1.5.
- Transfer posting run, posting date 1.6.
- Receivable paid, posting date 10.5.
- Transfer posting run, posting date 1.7.
In this transfer posting run, the system issues a note in the log to the effect that the transfer posting run from 1.6. should be carried out again.
- Rerun the transfer posting run, posting date 1.6.
