Diagnosis
To ensure that the remaining numbers are sufficient for a mass posting run and a termination does not occur during the number assignment, number ranges that are at least 98% exhausted are no longer used.

Inform your system administrator.
Procedure for System Administration
- Increase the upper limit of number range if possible.
- Assign a new document number interval to number range .
- Assign a new number range to document types that use number range instead of number range . This new number range should have a sufficient number of available numbers.
Always create number ranges such that they can be used over several years.
