Documentation
Definition
This flag causes data in temporary tables to be deleted without being written to the master data or the allocation tables.
Use
Set this flag if you do not want to save your data, but instead want the system to discard the data it has already transferred to the temporary tables as a result of your entries.
Dependencies
Example
Suppose you are managing your assortments and have made changes to the planned material master data or allocation tables. You realize that you have made some changes that contain errors, or have changed the data in such a way that the data in the temporary files is no longer valid (for example, you entered a characteristic value that no longer exists in the database).
You have two options:
- If the error is simple to correct, you can do so immediately.
- If you have made multiple errors or ones that are not so easy to correct, you can simply set this flag and have the system discard all your changes. Then you can start again with the original data.
