Documentation
Definition
Date for which replenishment planning is to be carried out.
Notes
If you schedule replenishment planning as a job, it may be that the replenishment run is not started until after midnight. If this is the case, you can tell the process the correct date using the Planning Date.
If an ATP check takes place for a material in the replenishment (WRP1), today's date is used instead of the planning date. This prevents inconsistencies in the ATP check, as the scheduling of the ATP check is based on today's date.
In multi-step replenishment the planning date is taken into account for the ATP check so that inconsistencies do not occur during scheduling. That means that today's date no longer needs to be used for scheduling the ATP check.
