Documentation
Definition
Indicates that the general material master data that is required when calculating requirements data is determined.
The general material master data required includes:
- Base unit of measure for the material in question
- Material group for the material
- Status information for the material
- Whether or not the material is a structured material
- General material master data for determining rounding parameters
If you select material-customer combinations using the material groups, you also have to determine general material master data.
Supplementary Documentation - WSRP_MARADATA0001
Use
In the three-step replenishment method, you can determine the general material master data when you determine the data for a) the replenishment requirement calculation or b) when follow-on documents are generated. This means that the indicator must be set for one of these steps.
If the indicator is set for a), the general material master data for both a) and b) are stored temporarily so that system performance is optimized when the material master data is determined.
If the general material master data is determined at a), changes to the general material master data are not included if they were generated between processes a) and b).
