Definition
Type of the version under which the data is saved when using recasting.
Use
Versions for the RMA raw data of the DSO object 0RMA_DS01 are allocated at three points in time:
- Recasting of initial inventory: This data is continually provided from the delta of the DSO object 0RMA_DS10.
- If the recasting period only consists of the current posting period, the data is updated under a version of type '1' (FI).
- If the recasting period starts with a previous posting period, the data of this posting period is updated under a version of type '2' (Reporting).
- Recasting of inventory changes This data is usually provided once during each posting period from the DataSource 0RT_RMA_03 (RMA Recasting). Data from the current posting period, leading up to the period-end closing, is updated under a version of type '1' (FI). If the recasting period consists of more than the current posting period, then the data of the previous period is updated under a version of type '2' (Reporting).
- Simulation before recasting: This data is continually supplied from the delta of the DSO objects of the Trade Foundation. It is updated under a version of type '3' (Simulation).
RMA results data is always updated under the version of the raw data for the same posting period from which it has been calculated.
RMA raw data and results data for alternative fiscal year variants (do not match the fiscal year variant of the company code) is generally updated under a version of type '4' (alternative calendar).
If you do not use recasting, then a version of type '5' (FI and Simulation) can replace both a version of type '1' (FI) and a version of type '3' (Simulation). The data is always updated only for the posting period of the time of the change and is relevant for both FI and reporting.
