Definition

When generation with the batch is started in background processing, parallel processing takes place.

On the selection screen, you must specify the number of items after which you want a data split to take place and how many processes should be started in parallel.

If you set this indicator, the system also takes the recipient into account during splitting of the data.

Setting the indicator has the following effect:

• For each new recipient, the system checks if the corresponding items fit completely in the current package (the check is made against the number specified on the selection screen) or if they have to be copied to a new package.
• If more items are provided for a recipient than permitted by the entry on the selection screen, another split is made within this recipient.
• If the number specified on the selection screen for each process exceeds this value, the split takes place after 20% of the total quantity rather than using the number entered in the case of larger processing quantities.
