Definition
The following explains the symbols that are displayed in this field.
Lock symbol:
Indicates that the catalog item is currently locked.
- In the current posting (SAP article master posting)
- In processing from another transaction (for example, purchasing list).
If the current caalog item is processed using the purchasing list, the Lock field also contains the value 'X'.
You can copy this field to the dialog using the layout setting.
Copy symbol:
Indicates that this item is an unchangeable copy of a catalog item in the current block.
The components of a structured article are displayed as a copy, for example. The relevant components are located as changeable items in separate blocks, such as the single articles.
Hat symbol:
Shows the generic material header at the level of the R/3 master data in the block of a generic material that was previously created.
Hand symbol (green rectangle):
If a variant is flagged as a master variant in a generic article block, an additional unchangeable item is displayed in this block that shows the data of the selected master variant.
