Documentation

Definition

Defines the maximum number of possible posting days for the validity start date of price plans whose validity start date lies in the past or the current date. The new validity start date is calculated by adding the specified number of days to the current date.

Use

To avoid inconsistencies, the program prevents the creation of conditions for past dates. Posting the plans also enables you to take any delay due to POS outbound processing into account.

Example

You have defined the postdating period as two days.

If you run the price activation on October 15 of a year, conditions with a validity start date of October 17 will be created for price plans whose validity start date is October 15 or earlier.
