Definition

When calculating the budget at item level for promotions, the planned quantity is always used. When the price plan is activated, however, this can be replaced by the current stock. The quantity rule determines whether and under what circumstances the planned quantity is replaced by the current stock when the price plan is activated.

Use

To determine which quantity will be used for the budget calculation at item level, make one of the following entries:

• 1: Always use entered planned quantity
• 2: Use current actual quantity (stock) at the time of activation
• 3: Use current actual quantity if it is less that the planned quantity, otherwise use planned quantity
