Definition

Key that uniquely identifies a markdown profile. A markdown profile contains time-related target values for sales (target sales ratios) and planned values for price reductions to be implemented when the actual sales figures differ from the target values (price strategy).

Use

In the slow seller analysis, the system uses markdown profiles assigned to the materials to generate appropriate markdown proposals after analyzing the sales data. The markdown profile used for the markdown proposal can be displayed for information purposes in the Price Planning Workbench when processing markdown price plans.
