Definition
Name of a method belonging to an analytical application that is used to read POS sales data for the budget update of promotion price plans in the price planning application.
Use
You can freely configure the reading of POS sales data for the budget update using the Business Add-In WRF_PPW_X_POS_READ_E. For the default implementation in which the POS sales data is read from SAP BW using the normal retraction technique, you must enter an analytical application and a method that will be used to perform the data retraction.
Dependencies
You must have set the indicator enabling the use of the budget update report in Customizing for Price Planning under Configure General Parameters.
You make the settings for data retraction itself in the Implementation Guide (IMG) under Data retraction for Retail/CP.
